Biography
As General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Dana Gruen oversees all of Quad’s legal affairs as well as its ethical and compliant business practices around the globe. Dana also leads a broad range of corporate functions including government affairs and real estate, as well as the safety and environmental management teams, and she ensures the company’s approach to enterprise risk management is holistic, integrated, and agile.
As Quad’s corporate secretary, Dana taps her deep legal expertise to provide counsel and support to the board of directors on governance and shareholder matters.
Dana was named to her current role in February 2023. She joined Quad in 2007 as Employment Counsel and held multiple positions in the company. Most recently she was Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining Quad, she worked as a labor and employment attorney for Foley and Lardner, SNR Denton, and Seyfarth Shaw.
Dana lives in Mequon, Wisc., with her husband, two high-school-age sons, and their labradoodle. Dana enjoys playing golf, attending her kids’ many sporting events, running, traveling, watching University of Michigan sports and listening to country music.
Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University.
