Dana Gruen

General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

As General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Dana leads Quad’s legal, ethics and compliance, and enterprise risk functions. She has responsibility for all of the company’s legal affairs globally, including commercial contracting, litigation, labor and employment, corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, governance, and regulatory matters. Dana also oversees several additional functions, including government affairs, safety, environmental and security.

In her role as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Dana oversees Quad’s ethics and compliance practices around the globe and helps ensure that business, legal, compliance and operational risks are identified and managed in a holistic, integrated and agile way.

As Corporate Secretary, Dana serves as a key advisor to Quad’s Board of Directors and provides counsel and support on corporate governance, securities and shareholder matters.

Dana was named to her current role in February 2023. She joined Quad in 2007 and, throughout her tenure, has held positions of increasing responsibility across the company’s legal and compliance organization. Prior to joining Quad, Dana practiced labor and employment law at Foley & Lardner, SNR Denton and Seyfarth Shaw.

Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University.

Dana and her husband have two sons and a labradoodle. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, traveling, University of Michigan sports and country music.
